I've found some steering wheels like mine on eBay with the buttons on the left hand side. It appears that the connector is already in the wheel to plug the right hand buttons into, so this might be a cheaper way forward, unless anyone knows different?

Ichel, thank you for the answer. I don't care about the lights. I would like to know how can I disconnect the wiring of TRIP on my car to avoid the conflict with the MFSW buttons? Do you have a wiring diagram of the connector?

An other answer, I haven't the airbag cable, do you know the oem code to fit the new steering wheel? (my polo 6r hasn't MFSW so the old airbag cable don't fit certainly)

Thanks. OK, we can speak on this thread. Could you please explain HOW all the MFSW controls work (the 6c MFSW on 6R) without changing bcm? Specifically I would like to know how can I transfer the signals of cruise control and the TRIP buttons on the MFSW controls. I saw this in other cars but I don't know which wiring I have to change to make it . Could you see it on Elsa win and explain also to the other users that want to do this retrofit? Because exist a guide but is only explained how to fit a MFSW 6r r line on a polo 6r. Instead I would like to know the retrofit from 6c to 6r. Thanks

The MFSW signals are sent via LIN bus (low speed databus, 1 wire). but the engine controllers of the 6R cannot understand the signals from the LIN/MFSW for cruise control. You'll need to find some kind of emulator for the MFSW with CC to translate these to normal signals from the stalks.

It's not like this solution is plug and play in any way.

Can anyone tell if mfsw installation procedure is same for 6r and 6c? I have a polo 6c comfortline tsi edition 1.0L with climate control ! Is it possible to add mfsw ?

No, it is very different and you need to make sure your BCM is part number 6C0 937 089 or higher.

VW never introduced 6C Polo in India. Your Polo looks like 6C. But from inside it's 6R. So MFSW can be installed on your Polo.

@iichel I guess he has 6R0 937 087S BCM.

If he shares scan report it will be clear.

I see, in theory every Polo 6R0 bcm will support the MFSW
