Thanks bud,i was a fan of how they looked standard i didn't want to buy a car and change lots of bits on it to get it how i liked it.I think they just need a few subtle mods to make them look that bit better.
Ive seen alot of them in the flesh and quite afew are abit over done but everybody makes them they're own which is what matters.

I'm like you, I like subtle OEM+ mods that are not so obvious, but only seen when you look closely or you know the model of car well.

Hey Joe have only just seen this sorry.
Yeh really well, still got the car.To be honest it's still running beautifully and enjoy driving it.Seems to get quite a few looks for a standard looking car which is always nice especially considering the age of them now.Mileage has crept up to 41,000 now so isn't really that low anymore. But when the time comes to part with it hopefully it'll stand out from the others on the market and go to a good home.
Will give it a nice thorough clean when the spring time hits.

Its probably the cleanest example around Bradley

still looks brand new from the pictures
41K now is still very low

have you anything else in mind as a replacement when you part company with the Polo?

Thanks Ben.
As for a replacement i really don't know,I'll be looking to buy a property at some point so need to do it before then without breaking the bank too much.Something like an Audi A3 S Line, nothing amazing but something alittle bigger with some mod cons etc.
Hows the Civic going?

Sounds good Bradley

you are doing the sensible thing of saving for a mortgage, wish I could say the same.
I do like the Audi A3's, good solid cars with brilliant interiors and all the gadgets you could ask for.
The S Line version is pretty pokey too, especially the 1.8 TSFI
Civic is going well thanks Brad, it hasn't missed a beat in 18 months.
I do miss GTI though, the styling and interior was on a different level to the Type R although I did expect that when I bought it.
Just bought a new exhaust for it (it's 3rd) so i'm hoping to get that fitted next week and book it in for another map tweak

Yeh man it's been tough but I'm there now just waiting for the misses savings to catch up.
I'd probably be looking at a 2.0 Turbo S Line they're 200bhp standard like the Golf GTI or similar year.If i were to do anything to it which i know i'll have to haha i keep it similar to the polo.
Glad the civic is going well,my friend had one and gave it stick for a few years and all that eventually went was 2nd gear. They love a beating through the bends.

Thankyou for the kind words Stefan,it's nice, to be honest i know it's not to everyones taste so when somebody like you comments like you have it makes it worth all the negative feedback.

Nice one matey

you are doing the sensible thing, getting on the property ladder is tough so the earlier you start the better
2.0 Turbo is even better, plenty of power & torque

even a simple stage 1 remap yields good results should you ever want/need more
Yeah the Civic is a great B road car, the earlier Type R's suffered with 2nd gear failure, normally the synchro mesh but fortunately that was resolved on the later models so mine thankfully should be fine

Your Polo looks amazing! I want mine to look as mint as that eventually! I want mine to look as fresh and as unmolested as yours does with a few little personal tweaks here and there. Good luck with the property ladder dude.
