Ciclo,
Could you please share with us details on how you got the Halogen lights to work with the Auto function?
Thanks, you're a star!

Damir, Thanks.
That is still TBC.
BTW, do you have a VW POLO 6R halogen headlights with start/stop system? Engine, model, ref bcm--> autoscan vcds, w/ or w/o fog lights, rain/light sensor.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
It's a Polo 1.4 Comfortline, South African model (engine code CLPA, mechanically very similar to CGGB minus EU5 certification). No start/stop function, with Halogen lights and fog lights. BCM installed in the car is 6R0 937 087 H. I've retrofitted the factory Rain/Light sensor and VCDS allows me to enable the light sensor/coming home/leaving home functions with no errors (obviously without any impact).
Really appreciate your time and effort, its been a tremendous inspiration to follow your thread. My VW parts guy is especially grateful to you, I've spent a small fortune doing these mods thanks to you![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
I appreciate your words and the information provided
I'll try to help you and explain what is your situation:
-Rain/light sensor: OK.
-Without start/stop system: The headlights are not controlled by the BCM, its activation is via relay (J331), so it is impossible to activate the auto lights.
I feel sorry for you.
-BCM: 6R0 937 087 H
Your BCM has no pins 1-37. Rounding out the installation and make it possible automatic lights.

Thanks for the info.
To understand this a bit better, which part of the stop/start system is required to make this work? Because one can always retrofit a BCM from a GTI for example![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

It is not possible by the original wiring configuration without start/stop system.
I would have to look carefully all installation, but would be a lot of wires and quite expensive to do. Hard at work.![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

Ciclo, can't we just recode airbag control module to activate/retrofit the airbag off key switch?

Not possible.
Is only possible to encode the first time with the factory code.
For a new unit uncoded:
Be careful, if you enter a valid code and this is not right, you do not have second chance.
Airbags units are set at the factory for a particular configuration of airbags.

INFO,Correct code: (If you send me a vcds autoscan, I can help you with this)
http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 45#p467435
I bought my new airbag unit here, indicating correct code:
http://www.carparts-pros.com/
You will are asking for the VIN number of your VW POLO, then the web store will tell you that will request to the factory, but that it may not work in your car.![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Not going to put a power chip, engine control module or reprogram the ECU, the Polo is for the city and anything else.
I've had moderately powerful and certainly prepared car. ( surely never again, at least in S....
)
S3 1.8T 225 factory ponies...
Factory metallic green, similar to Jaguar.
I was lucky because my Polo is not affected by the TPI, taking car to the dealer for corrective action and update the software of the engine control unit
Everything is well explained in the TPI, will download it in the first link, refers primarily to loss of engine performance 1.2 TSI and light in the instrument cluster.
Customer statement:
• The engine has no performance.
• Exhaust warning light on.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
I was in dealer about 2 weeks for oil change (it was a robbery), but they dont update the ECU.
Are the update available for all 1.2 TSI? (my car is made 2012.08)
Are You feel any diffrence after the ECU update?
My instrument cluster never show this statments.
