It's a nice idea that Aerial but it looks pretty fugly if im honest with you.
Polo 6R roof mounted or Fin and Booster are winners.
Good to see something different though keep up the OE.

Such a good idea! I only get my local station lol. Thankfully it's a pretty decent station haha
And i like the look as odd as that may sound. It looks gizmo-y which is cool.

Looks good and works great
Where did you get hold of the 6R aerial mate? Have you got a part no/price? Getting totally fed up of intermittent static on my way to work!

I got mine from my local VW dealer. I think it was about £21 which is a bit steep but the original fishing rods are like £29
Although i think some one is doing them on ebay now. Don't have the part number any more

sorry dude. If you just go in and say can i order a replacement aerial for my 6R polo they will bring the schematic up and you can show you which bit you want.

I must admit, i dont think it looks great but then i do look at it and think it looks gadgety
It came from one of my auto electrician mates and he fitted it for me as well. Have since found out that the missus could have got one from her work for just £2.85
The retail price on them is about £7.50 according to the other half.
I am just so happy to be able to listen to the radio again, hopefully will be even better when I finally get the Pioneer head unit that I ordered, cant believe it was out of stock, estimated delivery date is 2nd August

Had my tracking done again due to it getting thrown out again when I had the CV boot replaced, also had the air in my tyres swapped for nitrogen

How's the reception ?
I think that its the crappy JVC head unit i have in the car at the moment which is causing most of the problems, I had a pioneer double din before and the reception was always good.

Mine with the double din is alright but I'm miles out in the country but I reckon it will be amazing in town as it's amplified by 12v aswell.....
