First question:
It is highly likely your TSI is not affected, mine is above 06/2012 and is not affected.
Second question:
I have not updated my ECU, so I do not know if it feels any changes. :)

I read in some forum that after the corrective action is lost some power, but this is very subjective.

Translating that site left hand side menu for Polo 6R gives me the following:

Cornering on NSW
Auto Lock
Auto Unlock
Hill Start Assist
Coming Home / Leaving Home Lighting period
Disable daytime running lights
DWA sharpen acknowledge with Horn
Einzeltürentriegelung (didn't translate - anyone know this one)
Seat belt reminders
Unlock MFA
Rain Close
Soft Touch tailgate
Wipe tears

All possible via VCDS (on BlueGT)?

A thread with a list of what's possible (in what spec) would be handy :)

Ciclo, could you check if the roof grab handles in your Polo retract slowly or instantly?

Here's how it is in the Polo sold here:

Whereas most cars have it this way:

They all retract slowly in Europe.

Thanks Mart!n.
My BCM rejects coding to tear wiping.

I activated the lights for highway (RLS). Under observation.
I think it works only for xenon, but not sure, it is difficult to observe.

are you sure this will work on the Polo??

I coded the windows to close if it starts to rain. And it takes the coding okay. But it doesn't work.

Not sure, but I've read that works with any type of xenon for Audi.
Under observation and testing, with the bumps in the road and being in motion is difficult to see whether it works or not.
I have read that the system takes time to adapt to the lights and it begins to operate from 110Km/h.

To close for rain, have you also enabled Byte4 Bit6 (BCM)?

It has to be with closed car and first position (or any other non-zero) in the small lever wiper stalk.
In mine also does not work.
