6C instrument cluster doesn't fit to 6R, it's impossible:

I have the same IC like ciclo (Polo 6R BlueGT with maxi dot screen/MFA+), but as I remember @iichel has got instrument cluster from VW Amarok.

Simon, some time ago I saw there is hacked Discover Media appeared for sale, without Component Protection. In this case it will work with current instrument cluster.
In Russia such headunit is possible to buy for 50000RUB (approx. 800EUR)

But for now it has only navigation and Bluetooth unlocked. They are working on Carplay, Android connect, Mirrorlink to be unlocked also.

A special sensor system in conjunction with the control algorithms in the Climatronic reduces misting-up of the windows and enhances climatic comfort by managing the humidity levels inside the car.

From the data delivered by the humidity and temperature sensor in the base of the interior mirror, the Climatronic control unit calculates the dew point temperature of the air – that is, the temperature at which the air humidity would condense. An infrared sensor remotely measures the radiated heat on the windscreen, and calculates the window temperature. To prevent the windows from misting up, Climatronic regulates the volume of air projected on to the windscreen and, with the compressor switched on, also the air humidity inside the car. Relative humidity based on interior temperature can also be kept at a pleasant level.

Works like a charm.

I have tested all the automatic functions I had previously (all, many), lights, wipers (just today it was raining

), etc ... and maybe it's a personal sensation, but I think all these functions have also improved in regards to the sensor sensitivity.

Hey Ciclo! As the Guru of VW polos i know you answer alot of questions and that you cant help everyone. But if you got the time, maybe you could just take a look in my thread about LED foglights and tell me what you think. Would appriciate it very much
