I think now it's harder to navigate through the forum with the upgrade. Maybe it's a personal feeling or lack of knowledge.

Some times I used to see/navigate through the forum without login, and now my browser (chrome) warns me that it is not a secure site due to the scripts (videos). I have to give the appropriate permissions every time I view a page that it contains videos to be able to see them. :?

I guess this will happen to many people without login and this limits the use of the forum widely. :( :cry: ... :lol:

Hi there

I've previously posted around the wiring for a 090 BCM on a T5.1, was following Adam's progress through the wiring diagrams and guidance from Ciclo.

I was advised and then planned to start a new thread, but not sure what section to place it in as not a Polo?

Anyhow, I'll chance my luck to see if Ciclo or anyone else maybe able to assist, read that Adam sorted Xenon's on he's T5.

I've replaced the BCM previously and wired the lights as per Elsa/the guide, eg all fed from the BCM- Everything has been working fine for some time.

I've recently purchased a set of Bi Xenons and adaptor plugs (T10-T14). When first fitted nothing worked, so I checked and re- wired the adapter plugs as below:

Pins 1-4 Not used currently as auto range control is in future plans

Pin 5 - Negative

Pin 6 - Dipped beam/Xenons

Pin 7 - Negative

Pin 8 - High Beam

Pin 9 - Indicator

Pin 10 - T73b/6

Hm, I cannot quickly check the coding, but these wires need to be ok:

T14/12 left to T73b/5
T14/12 right to T73b/6

T73b/11, check presence of a wire. There needs to be a +30 (constant 12V) to T73b/11. MIght already be present if you have static cornering lights...

Thanks for the reply.

I've checked and double checked Elsa:

T14/12 left to T73b/3
T14/10 left to T73b/5

T14/12 right to T73a/5
T14/10 right to T73b/6

Any idea if I'm checking the wrong version to have the above differences?

T14/11 also give the impression it's a switched live with the main beam, although can just try connecting to +30

Tried connecting T73b/11 to +30, DRL's/LED's still not functioning.

Anything else I should check?
