Got some LED front indicators today :)

All i need now is rear ones and my LED indicator array is complete.

Gonna get some brake light ones too - the only issue is, the design of our rear light cluster makes light dispersal complicated, so only certain bulbs have a design which spreads the light around as much as a conventional bulb

Also got my drivers side bulbs exchanged, so now i have two matching colour 6000k HID bulbs. They looked like a 4300k and a 6000k before, even though they were both 6000k bulbs - wierd or what!

For those of you who dont understand that, 4300k is closer to the look of a normal halogen headlight bulb, whereas 6000k is a white with a strong blue tint :)

Well today brought on a new problem...

I went to VW earlier to get a new microswitch for the boot lock as the light isnt working on the dash, and low and behold there is water pouring from the front of the car.

On inspection it was washer fluid, so i thought hey it must just be a pipe thats popped off. I went to GSF got a new panel filter and a handful of jubilee clips and set off home.

Take of the front bumper, do it all up and tighten it, and its still leaking...so off it all comes again.

The pressure chamber (basically the headlight washer itself) has seen its last wash, and the seals inside have disintigrated, so thats another £20 in parts for the car!!

Anyway, went to halfords earlier and bought a new set of Bosch Super 4 spark plugs (having trade discount, i get them very very cheap!), and my god do they make a difference to the acceleration. Its soooo smooth now, and no longer lumpy and bumpy

The old sparks were black and all burnt out - god knows when they had last been changed!!

I still think I have a suspect HT lead, so if anyone has a set of 4 new Red HT leads that they wish to sell me, let me know!

So sparks, new charcoal pollen filter, and a new washer unit and microswitch...thats todays mods!

Nah mines fine. I don't know what it was like for the rear washer though, I never used it! It just came straight off.

Those indicator bulbs sounds interesting dude, link me up? 8)

Its actually the headlight washer that pops out the bumper - the washer tank is fine...just the headlight washer causing the issue!

They are from HIDS4U. I got them from them in person, so I'm not too sure where they are on the site, but its a 360 degree PY21W with offset pin LED bulb.

You do need to install load resistors behind to stop them having a panic attack though!
