Yes, more or less ... other parts that I ordered from the local store arrived the next day or quickly.
We will never know the real reasons for what happened to this part that made the delivery process so slow ... I have some clues from the notes on the packaging labels, but they would only be assumptions.
In one of them it says, DO NOT TOUCH, URGENT.
However, you already know that the personnel belonging to the VW group in most cases have an impeccable behavior.
I appreciate this above any other value.

Yes, I'll make a small complaint here to the VW Classic Parts department. But I agree, most of the VW employees have a good behaviour and are good people.
You can order a so called Birth Certificate. It states all the equipment of your car. It is of value if you decide to build or re-build a classic VW into its original state.
My Karmann Ghia Type 34 has a so called matching number set (engine, gearbox, chassis) which accounts for 20% value if maintained correctly.
So I ordered the certificate to confirm this. You enter the chassis number, gearbox number, engine number and you receive the certificate.
https://i.imgur.com/C1Cu9P1.jpg
So they apparently don't know the original body colour (!?), they only state that the engine is factory fitted but don't mention the number (why!? they know the number).
And they write that the car has a manual 4-speed gearbox while it actually has the first model fully automatic.
And apparently they made it in one day.
And I paid 75 euros for this. Come on VW...

You are absolutely right Michel, the gearbox thing is a small mistake.
However, we must bear in mind that the databases for classic automobiles are surely written in stone

, being part of the great and endearing adventure that is to rebuild a classic.
I suppose it will not be difficult to know the exact color of your Karmann Ghia, or is it rather that you want to know the color code?

I know the colour code by the power of vehicular archeology and sanding machines. Plus I matched it to my type 14 karmann Ghia to be L282

with L041 roof

Those details that don't matter.
I downloaded a new edition of erWin which turned out to be the solution to my mental paranoias

So, those of you who have retrofitted the 8IU LED headlights and want the electrical installation to be as directed by the canons, you have to correctly connect the wires that come from the T14/11 LED headlight conector position to the BCM.
Left LED headlight ... T14/11 to T46b/2.
Right LED headlight ... T14/11 to T46b/39.
I'll explain it another way, ... assuming you bought the wiring "somewhere we know" and for "laziness or other reasons" you have not changed the position of the wires in the BCM, your installation is not correct.
Well, I suppose that through the BCM adaptations this has a solution as we have verified above in this thread, but due to the multiple functions of the 8IU headlights I also suppose there must be some point in your installation where something does not work correctly ...

A question:
Why do the diagnostic tools (all) consider as a fault, that there is no reception of GPS or DAB signals regardless of whether the antennas and antenna cables are installed correctly?
The fault is recorded in the fault memory of the infotainment system.
There are "dark" areas that the satellites do not cover, either because they are not well calibrated, the earth's rotation/movements, or other more specific details.
I know some of these dark areas when I don't want you to see me.
And with regard to digital radio ... better not to say anything due to the lack of commitment to comply with what was agreed in the EU, ... and other "small" individual things in each country.
In short, I think it is diagnostic error, the vehicle reception system is correct, what is wrong are the external circumstances.

I bought a rns510 with dab because I really wanted dab. And I never actually listened to dab because the reception is very poor. Does this answer the question?

... the deception at the reception.
By the way, I have not yet installed the new 8IU LED headlights because I have to comply with the regulations
dictated for the ridiculous local confinement (ridiculous as long as work activity between places is possible).
It would be impossible to me due to schedules (day and night, heaven and hell, the earth is flat ...

) to do the necessary tests for Light Assist, DCLs, etc ... precisely in the place where I feel most safest from what will be a very long-term pandemic if other measures are not taken, ... besides the uncertain vaccinations (if not 100% effective, it will be as with the flu, ...overpaying for other percentages is not the right thing

).

Dynamic and Smoky mirror turn signal from Ali.
The first thing I did right after opening the package to see the content was to customize the plastic tool because being dark it has a tendency to suddenly get lost.
My feedback.

As a test, I will install these together with a pair gloss black mirror covers.
Maybe I'll install the new 8IU LED headlights this week.

I am very surprised by how empty T73C is. I'm not familiar with the Golf, at all, but on my Polo 6R, there is barely any space left

Well, I did not stop to look closely at that detail (good observation

), I think that in Golf 7.5 the T46B is more crowded with wires.
If you look at the image, the harness on the left is the one that goes to T46B, to which I also attached the three wires (red, yellow and blue) that are just above this harness.
... , thus completing the electrical installation of the 8IU LED headlights, that is, it is
the point of no return.
