Fitted my headlights yesterday and got them working perfectly! They look stunning! Can't tell the difference between these and the genuine ones from VW. They came with 6000K HIDS already wired up and ready to go, all I had to do was plug it in. Took a whole 20 mins to get them fitted.

Here's a few snaps of them on the car :)

For anyone who are thinking of getting a set, I would highly recommend it!

Thank you so much JayW - you've made this decision a whole lot easier! Any coding needed?

Nope, no coding at all. Just plug and play. You can code it so that the LED's come on as your DRL's but I've left it for now.

Lovely look!

Before doing the following I need a vcds scan your BCM and info of the new harness (pictures connector 14-pin).

DRL:

If you have DRL beside the fog lights, you have to make some changes to the wiring.

Pin1 current drl... to ... Pin10 drl xenon (connector 14-pin)
And vcds coding.

Led DRL work with the light switch in position "0" and diminish its intensity while working as sidelights.

Static cornering lights:

Pin1 current fog lights .... to .... Pin14 xenon
Then pin1 both foglights vacant.

Now, you need to redo the wiring of the foglights and connect them directly to the light switch. (needed a new fuse 15amp in position 54)
Pin1 vacant both foglights ... to ... new fuse SB54 (15amp) and from SB54 to Pin8 light switch (attached to existing cable).
And vcds coding.

If you can not use position 54 by the shape of the fuse box, put the fuse in position 37 (for example)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning to other readers:
It is necessary to have the fuse SB57 to make these changes.(DRL and fog lights)
If you have the fuse SB56, your drl are not controlled by the BCM.

Hi Ciclo,

Have you sourced the tail lights of the 6C Polo's already?

If so, I'd also be interested in getting them.

Thanks!

Hi sheFs
Not yet, soon I will put a tutorial (DIY) for making oneself the necessary wiring, here. I am waiting to receive the connectors.

Your polo, RHD or LHD?

If I buy taillights 6C will be here:
http://www.carparts-pros.com/index.php

Small update to RHD: http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 88#p482188

Thanks for the quick response!

It's a RHD, so was hoping could source one in the UK that wouldn't require too much wiring changes!

Looking forward to your DIY.
