And mine has probably taken a wrong turn and is heading down the Limpopo.

There is a ship going into Grimsby today and its nearly into the Port. Do they transport cars from Grimsby to Stratford? Otherwise it much be keeping @Mike.DO and @Lansclad1985 company on their African tour

Yes Andy the cars do transport from Grimsby to Stratford.

I’ve got a trip to Scotland early September with a friend with all our golf stuff, so I’m happily waiting for my gti until after that as I’d need to put the seats down. The Tiguan just swallows it all up and has a 58L petrol tank. But in this weather I’d love to have my gti.

Anyone know if we still get the little metal parts on the fob that say gti on them? I got them with my last one.

Enjoy your golf trip. Yes for your trip the Tiguan sounds perfect (large boot, large fuel tank).
On your key question, I honesty don't know. I won't be a bit surprised if its disappeared. But lets hope its still there.

Ordered a Polo GTI on the 8th July, had a call last week saying my unconfirmed build week should be 38, so the 19th September.

Decided to upgrade and join the GTI crew

Got a 70 reg 115 R Line Polo atm. Had an 18 reg 115 R Line before.

Popped into my local VW branch Sunday morning and bagged a GTI cancelled order already arrived (at another dealer location). So after 6 months wait the first two times got only two weeks ish for a 72 plate.

Gone Reef Blue this time. 18s, grey inserts, spare wheel and with black roof pack.

Can’t wait

Wife wanted me to get a golf or T Roc but 90% of the time there’s only me in it, so seemed a lot of car for far more money

Great to see so many GTIs about to land with new owners

Mine was at the dealers Saturday, from the VW email.

Our r-line is at the dealers and is getting picked up 23/8. So at least one of the cars is here!

I just have a feeling mine is still sat a port in SA.
When the dealer messaged a couple of weeks or 3 ago it was status 30 left the factory. We'll see...

Hi @KayakerPaul Yes, it's in the UK and I've asked for 72 Reg. Picking up at start of September. Just need to do the deal on my current car and get money to pay for Polo.

I have We Connect on my phone loaded and have a little pic of a Reef Blue GTI if I log into app.

So a few weeks wait and then I'll have my hands on it.

@ johnpolo2 have faith, I feel its going to turn up any day in sunny Stratford
