Cheers mate, appreciate it.
yep, i got my kestrel and poorboys kit from 'serious performance'.
heavily recommend the kit, awesome price and value, around 145 for the kestrel polisher (with the 6" backing plate, tool etc)
three poorboys SSR polishes
3 different grade 6" pads
3" backing plate
3 different grade 3" pads
reel of 3m tape
only fault was some of the pads didnt last long. i havent compared them to the lifespan of any other so dunno exactly how long they're ment to last.
for every other product i buy though i get from elitecarcare.co.uk and cleanyourcar.co.uk.
hope this helps

Okay the last two days of the detail. Here are the doorshuts,
Before: all pretty greasy and scratched

Look at all the polish dust on this one!
You wouldn't have guessed these were cleaned a few weeks prior to the machine polish.
Here they are after machining the sills, degreasing cleaning and waxing them all
Oh & my de-locked door handle for the passenger side:
Then got onto the waxing, applied three coats of Collinite 476s, it came out really well. Dead happy with the results
Sucks because I hadn't actually finished the car when these pictures were taken, I still had the plastics to dress and 2 coats of collinite to go! But I didn't have a camera on the last day haha.
So this is the car after 1 coat of wax, it's since had two more, and the plastic grills and window rubbers yet to be fully dressed
Well it took a really long time but got there in the end! The car fully detailed (although I do still have to do the plastics), but I really did just take my time so I wouldn't get bored and slack on it.
Good news, got my student loan through, so the car will be insured over the next few days, then MOTed and taxed! good times. Also in the middle of sorting out a mount for the front plate (just need to decide exactly where to put it), then the Monos will be going back on
Comments as always welcome

Cheers guys.
Howard - My brothers R reg Skoda Felicia
Does the job, just a pig to drive compared to the GTi. The paint is really faded on it also, & it's quite tempting to bring it back to life!

Haha yeh it's addictive! But when I think of the mass amount of cleaning and claying I'd have to do to it to get the paint clean before I start polishing makes me think 'ohh can't be bothered' haha

Some really good reflections there. Did you figure out what you are going to do with the stone chips?
