Re: Big Red shall i splitter in half :-)
thanks dude.
yeah i am going to get the splitter and handles sprayed at the same time as it will be cheaper as the paint will already be made up,
yeah to be honest im pretty bored of the TRS towstrap il take it off and get some new fog grills actually just thinking i may have all my lower grills sprayed gloss black.
after all that and whats in my above posts i think im pretty much done...
i can afford the smooth bumper now but with the weather im just in no rush may wait a month or two and then il get it done before the pre season rush and not fit it till the summer,

My fogs are fine used them for the first time since having them installed on Monday and they match the hid kit quite well.
However I will be getting rid of the strap and getting new fog grills. But I'm happy with the diamond grills it's not a GTI I don't want to make it look like one... Although I do get the occasional "nice golf" comment ha ha.

Re: Big Red shall i splitter in half :-)
right not much progress just yet but its all to come,
still prepping the spoiler should be ready to fit end/negginning of next month,
attempted to lower the front end by a few CM at the weekend but was stuck with the problem that the drivers side coilover was fine and could be moved with ease but the passenger side is kind of siezed i coated it in wd40 but it made no difference, shock treatment with a rubber mallet is next and last resort is heat it up with a blow torch the chuck cold water on it and before it contracts try move it then,
and a picture of my friend pretending he knows what he is doing (note the crossed legs whilst working on a car ha ha)

Big Red shall i splitter in half :-)
So a good day for big red today,
I got up at 9am,
Showered, s**t and shaved, nipped to Tesco to check my tyre pressure. checkled oil levels, went back to pick up my friend and headed off to London got there in 40 mins picked up this little lot...
All just to replace my drivers seat the result I hear you ask ???.
Well pretty similar to what I had in the beginning but after a year of searching for these exact seats (rarer than univorn sh!t) I'm absolutely ecstatic and now I have spare seats ha ha there from a 3dr match do try match mine perfectly...
Now you may notice the middle headrest in the back, I got headrests with the seats so thought id try it what do people think ? My friend hates it I like it...
Just adds a slightly sportier look I feel,
And matching seats from the outside...
My Lego superman review mirror...
Now the headrests I got today are randomly slightly larger than my old ones so I put two of the new larger ones in the rear seats and moved my smaller ones to the front and used an old smaller one for the middle back as shown in this pic...
I like it and am happy as can be what's people opinions ?.
Now just some pics I took... With my duck. All iPhone pics so not brilliant
I sorted out my audio bass is now crisp with absolutely no flare, just punches with the beat, sounds amazing, will be getting new speakers next month though but more on that as it happens . And neat end up a few wires etc...
And I downloaded Pokemon yellow on my iPhone .
Still prepping spoiler and the GTI splitter isn't going on till I get a new bumper.
Would like some GTi red door cards now.
Overall I'm very happy and made it to east London and back in less than an hour and a half on less than a quarter of a tank... And I absolutely nobbed it back
