I have the Bury kit in a box so I was considering selling it to recoup some of the costs (it will make me feel better!)
Just had the originale integrated Bluetooth kit installed in mine last weekend. Works perfectly for phonecalls and music streaming from my iPhone.
Paid £200 (here in Denmark) installed at a friends company how specialices in installing OEM equipment.

That's a fairly good price, my dealership said that they could not do this work. Your Blue GT looks great, if you don't mind me asking, which dealership sorted out the cluster and Bluetooth?

It was Peter Cooper in Portsmouth

Oh dear, that's 240 miles away from me. Thanks for the information anyway. I could do with finding someone a little closer to home.
Enjoy your BlueGT.

I agree with you. I really do miss the auto lights. If there was one feature I would change about the BlueGT this would be it. How much does it cost to do auto lights as a retrofit? This would be the full job as I do not have the technical know how to attempt it myself.

I went on a 70 mile round trip today in my BlueGT and as I had plenty of time decided to go for the economy just to see what I could squeeze out. With just me and my 12 year old son on board and a couple of sports bags I managed 60.6 mpg for the round trip. This did include a small part of the journey driving through urban areas with some stop start driving too.
I was quite impressed by that, but on the other hand it was hard work not getting the most out of the performance.
But if nothing else, it proved to me that it can be done.

A gloss black roof would look amazing on this.

Nice to know it's manageable. I have a trip to one of offices on thursday which is a 140 mile round trip, on motorways/dual carriageways, but given mines currently only got 7 miles on the clock, it'll still be too tight to expect decent mpg i guess. it'll be good run-in miles!

Everyone has been commenting on how much smaller my car is since seeing it. I didn't think it was much smaller than the 207, will be checking wheelbases later i think..
Anyway on a complete tangent of smaller cars, followed a VW XL1 in MK this morning. 353mpg, we are driving veritable gas guzzlers in comparison!

Oh my god, it gets better!
Dealer has confirmed that not only will the new car have the Convenience Pack, but by having that it will also have the Climate Control (which I also didn't originally order), because you can't have the Convenience Pack without Climate Control.
This is above and beyond what I ever expected from VW! I feel like a very lucky duck

I can't wait to get this car!!!

Not saying you are not going to get Climate Faye, but climate control has nothing to do with convenience pack. The two are mutually separately and can be specced independent of each other.
**edit** Scrap that, just checked the latest price list and they are right....must have changed since the I got the wife her's.
So result Faye !

Very lucky!
This must be a very recent change as mine was ordered with the convenience pack and I have manual air con.

It mentions it in the 1 May 2013 brochure that I have and she's confirmed that it is still the case, not sure when you ordered aniseedvan?

Given mine was a car just about in build in build 5 weeks ago when I effectively ordered it, I don't know when the dealer ordered it... I did query it at the point of order as the configurator wouldn't let you do one without the other but it would have been something else to argue over the price!

Thought you might have meant sensor pack and cruise control. But closer reading of the booklet shows the two go hand in hand on the GT. Good thing to have, the climatronic.
