very well, you're post led me to believe it was a reply to the section about how the speedo was most likely in error, which is why I couldn't see the relevance of it being on a 1/4 mile day, but in fact it was merely stating your friend wasn't going over the speed limit on a public road

Basically all of the speeds people have posted are Speedo Indicated.

They could be out as much as 10 maybe 20mph including mine, unless we have some sort of calibrated measuring device in the car we won't know the actual speed. :D

Still the best way is a measured distance and two light beams to break.

Speed is relative anyway. When your speedo says 120 its still a buzz either way! :)

well people don't have such facilities so I think people should stop being so arsey and just accept peoples top speeds knowing they could be slightly inaccurate.

You can still work out an average top speed for each model from this thread, which I think is the main point of it

me thinks we should have photo evidence or 1/4 mile rin slips of stupid speedo dreams mate in passenger seat taking pics not driver :lol:

10- 20 mph out youve having a laugh mate should be that far out may be 5-7 mph at top speed :roll: :oops:
