had another set back guys :(:(:(
im seriously on the brink of giving up with cars......

today in Sainsburys i parked up and went shopping with the missus, came back and there was a space ahead of me so nstead of reversing out of the parking space, stupid me decides to go forwards.......

turns out there was a bit of curb sticking out and i smashed my front splitter, cracked the side bit of, about the size of a trainer, luckily its a flush, brittle snap, but still well peed off :(

somethings telling me its too low!

might make the show, might not its in a serious state now.

Bloody hell, you really seem to be unlucky recently mate. You haven't broke any mirrors, walked over 3 drains etc have you?

you should still get yourself to the show mate, battle on - don't let it get you down.

Must be that numberplate :P

But seriously, thats real bad luck you're having, at this rate you'll be giving up washing the car and putting it into the rat-look categories at shows! Was the regier (sp?) splitter expensive? Maybe its time to get a GTi splitter on there :?

"snotagolf", who owns the ex-venom green 1.8t lupo, had a bump at Ultimate Dubs but still put it on show, seeing as he'd come all that way anyway. Its not about the winning, its about the taking part!

brake light off the car u mean?
boot lid up, 2 little circular rubber covers off.
there wil be 2 rectangles showing, these arent screws, get something like a screwdriver and just pop it towards you, its stiff though, but it will come, just be patient, move 1 side of it up a bit, then the other, etc etc

yeah not my month but hey things can't get any worse surely!

the reiger splitter was 80 quid i think, its going to have to be rubbed down and glued back on then re-painted (more money!)

also would like to quote Haynes manual here :-

" The brake light unit can be "tricky" to realease. "

Tricky F***ing tricky is not the word !
