FFS, and to top off the cake they give you a crap car?!

With that may problems I'd ask for my money back. I'm thinking that alot of these polos are badly made to begin with. And obviously get alot worse alot quicker!

Nope

Was about to buy the 207 before switching to the polo. The only reason is because I used to have a 1.0 mk5 polo and it was soo good for 100,000 miles until i crashed it

I'm thinking about getting either the polo gti after taking back the car, or a mid-ranged golf. I think the golfs are much better in build quality.

insurance on a GTi will be mad.
you are best off taking your to VW, explaining your problems, let them deal with them all at one.

If they are still not fixed when u pick it up, book it in again the same day and keep doing it until they get sooo pissed off that they actaully fix it.
thats all i am doing.

Thats what I'm worried about.

It's £340 atm for me and the whole family (and I'm still under 21!) on the 1.4, so it might be just under a grand for the GTI.

Your plan does sound good, I will try it when I go there after my exams.

Hi,
Thanks for replying!

Can i please have a show of hands on the poll for people who have a MK7 (9n3) with the described brake problem.

I want to take this to VW, as i am there on Thursday and they are still insistant that nothing is wrong. If i can say that its not just me, maybe i will have a fighting start.

Also, has anyone else took this issue up with VW?

Thanks

Chris

I get the same problem as you know! Very annoying stuff!

I'm going there later this week so i'll grill them for that as well as the new working cupholder they promised a month and a half ago...
