that does look nasty mate! was surprised when dan told me about it, i was thinking, they don't use steam for waste water treatment!
to me, sounds like there was a blockage along the way somewhere which meant the fluid in the casing just heated up. been there, done that! lol
so which part of the process was this from, just after, what we call, foul screens?
reminds me of a little thing i did when i was a mear second year apprentice, acid to the face is never nice!
my fault, should never look down the barrel of a gun! or in my case, don't blast water down a pipe, which is a vent line to a sulphuric acid tank and is blocked, and then look down it! asking for trouble!
