Wow, impressed
What is that breather pipe made from? it looks bloody huge compared to the small little tube in my engine?
Is the cam wheel/belt cover standard on the engine or is it of another model as it's a nice finishing touch?

Cheers, the cam puley itself is an adjustable item, the back plate is modified by me, and the bottom cover is slightly modded so it doesnt have the lugs for the top cover

Well, looks good, but what's on the inside?!

That's what I'm more curious of
Hope that isn't the standard silicon hosing you used for the breather pipe, you will need to use the oil&fuel resistant silicon, since "standard" silicon hoses will tend to start "leaking"/"sweating". Got the timing of the cam perfect aligned with the pulley? No timing-belt cover? If you're going to use the car/engine on a daily basis, the cover is a valuable asset, just one small rock or something else swung up from the road can do much engine-damage when getting between the timing belt&pulley(s)
Am dying to hear the specs of it all!

Cheer severyone, jarno, i have a cambelt cover that has a section cut out and perspex inits place, because this is my daily, also the breather is fluro lined, specialy for oil,
The spec
1.6 8v AEE from 1997 polo withe 55000miles
Head ported, polished and skimmed
Custom 'smooth' rocker cover
New piston rings
Oil pump reconditioned
Custom inlet manifold
Yamaha R6 carbs
single point injection fuel pump(1 BAR instead of MPI pumps 3 BAR)
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
4 branch exhaust manifold
Straight through middle section and custom (hidden backbox)
All i can think of right now!
a mk2 polo on club polo with standard AEE engine, just running R6 carbs produced this RR graph

Ok, so you've got the cambelt covered and worked out that hose, good going there! Will provide a lot of fun this here engine, but I was wondering, why didn't you get a higher duration camshaft? That will truly bring out the beast

I could be wrong, though I think it's got a 272 Newman cam in it!
