just bit the bullet and ordered one from a main dealer. Getting it wednesday. Hopefully this is the end of my splitter woes.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner dude! I've been busy.

I'm still gunna get a new one, but it won't be for a while now. It's taken a back seat du to the gearbox news.

How much did it cost you mate?

Yeah I read your post and guessed gearbox would have to come first.
It cost me Â£40.16 + VAT.
I think thats extortionate for what it is but I cant look at the front of the car without thinking it needs one.

It is quite a large amount of money, but I suppose they can afford to sell them at that price!

I'll get a new one sooner or later.
