Tyre weld or tyre seal whatever its called? That jizz you squirt in your tyre when its flat! They used it in that feature on fifth gear that daz posted!

If you run decent tyres you shouldnt get a puncture :)

thats true

anyway if he does get a puncture atleast he can pass the time waiting for recovery with a good sound system :P :lol:

thanks for the comments. Yes you were right i have constructed the box in the wheel well, clamping it down with wheel well threaded bar, then constructing the floor around it. as for a spare wheel i have never had a car that has one lol. i keep meaning to pick up some tyre weld but im sure it will be fine lol.

will have more work coming soon, start my new job on the 9th so more money :)

What's the sound like? And how much thought did you put into the air volume of the box?

I'm really tempted to do this myself but thought there's quite alot of maths involved to achieve a decent punch?

tbh i didnt put much thought into it. it was just pot luck that it sounds good and i get a decent punch. when i buy my next sub i will get one for the volume of the box.

Cheers for the info. I'm thinking about getting this done, but actually fibre glassing the whole well and using it all as a the box.

I can get it professionally done in the same manner, but it'll be quite pricey.
