Hi,

Well I thought I'd provide an update!

Car is booked in for respray on both sides to get rid of scratches, it's going to cost £240 for four panels (mate's dad) so it's proper cheap!

Here are the mods I've done since buying the car 4 weeks ago.

Got some 14" BBS RAs with 65 Toyo tyres, should come Wednesday.
Rear red FK LED tail lights.
Side bumpstrips removed.
Debadged.
Badgeless grill.
Stubby aerial.
Badboy bonnet.
Clear indicators and side repeaters.
FK Angel eye headlights.
Lowered (but will slam it when alloys arrive!)
New door speakers, 6x9s and amp (about £600 worth)
German stamped number plates.
RS2 front bumper (unfortunately... had to give a mate my 8v so he could sell it but I'm on the lookout for a 16v or smoothed 8v...)
Audi TT pedals...

I think that's about it... I'm running out of ideas! I can't really be f*cked to fork out for leather interior.

I'll post some pictures soon. Anyone got any other ideas for modifications?

Pics? When you say 65 Toyos? Are you referring to the profile size?

Yeah, I meant 45 though... 65 is what was on there before. I'm an idiot

It's too dark now but I've got a picture from last weekend but it's only from the front.

Like I said, I don't like the RS2 bumper and I'm not 100% about the bonnet either but that will do for now. Just need to change the bumper as soon as I can find a new one.

Hhmm yeh I'm not fussed on the mods you've chosen if I'm fair, no offense though!! If I was you I'd look at getting a smoothed 8v bumper, they're hot 8)

Perhaps... I wouldn't even mind just a normal 8v one, just want to get rid of this RS2 as I think it makes it look a bit chav.

Most of the stuff (angel eyes, bonnet, bumper, repeaters etc) are off my mate's old MK4 which he was setting back to standard so we did some swaps to help it sell.

Plenty of time to change it around.

Just had a thought, do VW sell bumpers by any chance?

I'm thinking it's doubtful as it probably would have been suggested to me already but worth asking I feel.

Yep, give the a ring. Even if parts are discontinued, there's always a chance that there's a few of them left sat on shelves somewhere.

Just picked up the car from the respray, it's lovely. The scratches are gone, the dings are gone, the scab is gone. £240 down but it's well worth it!
