I went down the same route with the Kamei Chrome Mask, it sure look good but in the end i had the whole center bit where the mask is applied professionally spray painted silver colour. Chrome looked like the Passat and Jetta so i wanted to be unique and went for a silver colour much similar to the R32. Got to say it looks awesome. Hope you enjoy it when it's applied, post piccys when done mate, it would bring me back so many memories when i had it done.

What about lower honeycombe grilles? Then the only changes i want to make are adding mp3 capability to the stereo. (Xcarlink), maybe some LED's (ultimatemods), gloss b pillars and a cubby box
