Number plates are 100% legal, got all the details etched at the bottom of them :)

Just go to the website, it's all legit and I had to send my documents off and stuff so I could buy them -

http://www.dubmeister.co.uk I think it was, or just google it.

I had all the ins and outs of the insurance explained when I bought the car, and it's all good for me :)
I only have 2 years no claims anyway so losing 1 year doesn't make much difference, and I've never driven anyone else's car anyway so I don't want/need that either lol

And like Neil said, it gives me the time to save up for the real goodies :D

edit: Just noticed on my computer you can't actually see the number plates, as the photos have been cropped? Dunno why that has happened, I'll upload them to my photobucket account and post a link there instead :)

Well a present came for me today...

Ordered them in 5000k, after sifting through some threads on here :P

Gonna have a go at fitting them at the weekend, using the guide someone posted up on here, god know's if I'll be able to do it though! If not, who/where would be best to take it to do you think??

That is a good point (chrome indicators), I never thought about that!

Bit too late to order any now though, I'll probably get some at some point though! Hopefully they won't be too hard to take off so shouldn't be a problem :)

As for the side lights and full beams, I bought some phillips white ones a few weeks back. Plus I don't think I have ever had the sidelights on in my car lol

The side lights in the headlights come on with the DRL's! Also there on when you have your Dipped beam lights on. If your going HID change the little side light bulbs to LED otherwise they will look yellow :(

I think they sell the chrome indicator bulbs at Halfords you can get chrome type or Diadem type like in the link below

http://www.care4car.com/productdisplay/ ... Bulbs.html I hope this helps you out :D

Do they?

I've never checked tbh, I just thought that when you turn the dial to that middle position and it turns off the DRL/dipped beam lights, and the side lights are on, I thought that was the only time they were on haha! They are blue in colour, dunno if they emit blue or white colour though, I've never checked. I will just see how it all looks when the HIDS are fitted I suppose. Hopefully won't be able to tell.

Looking good Zoe :D How long did it take you to do? Did you take the headlights out to do it. Will be great to see it at night.

Cheers!

Probably took about half an hour/45mins in total I think. Yeah, you have to take the headlights out to do it, would be impossible with them still in because you can't reach the hole for the bulbs to go in lol

Here's some photos of them at night anyway, start up blue then settle to a crisp white colour :)

Also some photos of the snow we had overnight! Good job I got them done yesterday tbh!

Are they the little metal boxes?

There is literally nowhere to fit them properly, so we just cable tied them to a few wires/pipes. Gonna have to check in there every so often to check they're still ok lol
