Polo ordered! Three month wait begins...

Anyone know how long the free insurance is supposed to take to come through? I've had the car a week and a half and still got no insurance documents or any details at all, they said I had three weeks to send my NCB discount but I can't until I actually get my policy number and documents. I swear I'm beginning to wish I never bought this f***ing car, VW are useless.
