I got scared the first time I took mine out tbh, but now I'm the same, 3 rd time doing it and it's just like yeah rip them out lol! I'll get some pictures of mine I at some point!

I'm using Philips diamond visions with smd sidelights

How white are the philips?
Ive got a set of MTEC super white - very cheap but very white but not that bright.

I know the philips or Osram would get more vision but dont want to keep the bright white.

The Philips are very white, perfect match to my 5000k smd side lights, not the brightest though! Luckily I don't go down many country roads where I need the bright lights, but looks wise they are spot on!

I'll take some pictures this afternoon so you can see how white they are, and I'll try get some pictures tonight of them on the road

Yeah mine look like that! I got MTEC they're very nice looking.

One thing I remember is that the body shop who put mine in said 'I hope these are good bulbs you've bought as you don't want to be doing that job every time a bulb goes out. We'd to take off the bumper, and the under plate (or whatever term he used).'

Why did he need to do all that. How come you guys can do it easily yourselves lol.

You should only need to remove 2 screws and push the headlight out. No need to remove anything else, only thing i can imagine is charging you for labour..?

Remove the bolts marked 2 and pull out the light.



There's actually a much better picture in your cars manual.

Im looking to upgrade on my bulbs , anyone got any pictures of the beam output on the road as i've heard they can be quite poor in bad weather cheers.

He said they took those two bolts out but the lights wouldn't come out so they'd to take off the bumper :S

I takes these lights out on a daily basis and its 2 or sometimes 3 bolts and a good shove on the back of the light and it pops out
