Finaly someone who can count in kph.
Just kidding.

It's just not always I get around to convert from miles to kilometres.
But in kph the ACT works up to 130 kph and from 1200 to 3000 rpm.

Hi Faye
Most contributors have answered your ACT query above. However, you will notice that if you use cruise control it is more willing to switch to 2 cylinder mode.
I found using cruise whenever possible helps to improve fuel consumption too.

Ithink that must be because your right foot is too heavy... It is easy to use only two cylinders without using cruise control...
The cruise control is not in any way made to save fuel. But to keep the set speed at any meens necesary.

Had a friend install the OEM Bluetooth module today so no more Bury and hello MFSW control etc
Fortunately my friend has OCD so all cables wrapped in oem loom tape and routed for easy access and no coding required

I have to say that this thread is a wonderful source of information on the BlueGT, and it is of great help to me, so thank you all. A little question that I'm sure you can answer for me, are the DRL's in the fog lights or the headlights, and are they LED's? I am sure I have seen some reference somewhere that they are similar to the Bluemotion, but I can't find anything anywhere. I am of course referring to non xenon lights.
Thank You
Peter

Hello Peter
I have non-Xenons in my BlueGT and the DRLs are in the fog lights, they don't look like LEDs to me though....

Thanks Faye. Another question for you, are you satisfied with the performance of the headlights? I'm just wondering if I should go for the xenons, but have to keep a lid on the extras!
Thanks
Peter

Well, I've only had the car for a little over a week myself but I'm more than happy with the headlights. I mean xenon's do look a lot funkier I'll admit, but I feel like the standard headlights are more than adequate.

I think once you have xenons you wont go back, but I haven't got them, and so far so good.
I will say the reversing light is properly weedy though, may as well not have bothered (living in the sticks it's dark reversing off my drive, feels like going into an abyss...).

Ha! I thought it was just me struggling with the reversing light. It's a good job the parking sensors are there because even on our street, which is lit, I struggle to see what's behind me on the driveway!

Oh great, we live in the sticks also, sounds like it needs a headlight on the back!

Installed a left tail light from a right hand drive model so I can have reverselight in both taillights.
I'll put up a picture when they are wired up.
