They do look amazing Painted and it saves a lot of cleaning/greasing time too

I would go for a low gloss finish but matte would work provided the shade isnt too dull

Well all being well on sat or sun, although i no the exhaust is blowing lol another thing to add to the list haha may just be a small hole havent had chance to get underneath and have a look yet.

Not had much luck with the car the past week. To start with Phil's (P mk 4) GTI came with a bonnet bra so I stole it and ran it out for a few days. It was nice for it to look a bit different for a change but I wasn't going to leave it on as i'm so worried about the red paint being discoloured. Heres the car with it on:



But after 1 wet day this happened



Took the bra off as it was wet and I guess I was too late. Its like the water has got in through the many stone chips and lifted the lacquer. I've tried drying it out by leaving 500 watt heat lamps close to it and this did a little but its still there. I'm gona wait for some sun on it but otherwise I guess its gona have to be stripped, polished and re lacquered

Then to top today off, I think that my off side front bad has stuck on I am in the middle of my final exams but am going to find the time tomorrow to put her on the ramp and see what cracking. Bad month

This is why I don't like bonnet bra.

Sisters boyfriend left his on too long on his red gti and. Ow the front of the bonnet is milky red!

Yeah i'm so pissed off with myself
