Right for rain sensor (read user manual). For light sensor, you may have to activate ADL in BCM. (no sure)

In my R-line, RNS and Instruments cluster changes the brightness depending on the ambient light. Just perfect.

Something interesting:
I take to say that my instrument cluster is a rude in Spanish, only says "refuel". Image(in spanish "Repostar")
In English it is more friendly, says "Please refuel". Image

LOL...

Repostar sounds good to me. It's more interesting why the German put the text in there. We will refuel the tank whenever we like. Not when we see the text: Please refuel. hehe.

Btw Ciclo, what about your interior cabin lights? if you switch to the middle position, will the cabin lights switch on during the day?

btw, I believe ADL (English) or AFL (German) is the automatic headlight activation, means this is all about auto switch, new BCM + Ciclo wiring package for me with halogen 6R.
My instrument cluster looks boring.

The lights in the cabin switches do not change brightness. Only ON/OFF.
Is there any car that include this feature in its equipment?

ADL -- you can see in Byte 22 Assistent Driving Light ...haha... ...definition no is exact, I think...What light?, How many lights?, etc...

I just wondering, if the headlamp can be automatic, why not the interior lights and footwell. hehe.

ADL is directly translated from german AFL which is Assistenz Fahrlicht. By Fahren(or Driving) light, it means lights that help you drive. So it's the headlamps. Cabin lights has nothing to do with driving. I think so.

When I'm driving around town (lights and shadows of the buildings) is much help when changes the brightness of the light in the instrument cluster automatically.

This feature can be considered as ADL? :?:

I don't think so.mainly because the brightness for instrument cluster and headunit (rcd/rns) are being controlled internally using the internal hardware inside the equipment (as you did highlight earlier on the position for the light sensor). These are not controlled by the BCM. Thus, ADL has nothing to do with that.

In AUTO positión of light switch and low beam is activated by light sensor, my RNS changes the display from day to night, therefore, the BCM also controls the RNS.

In any case, you're right, instrument clusters and RCD/RNS have their own software to function.
On the other hand, are specific characteristics of activation (day or night screens) in the RNS.

All this without detriment to change the brightness of cabin lights manually.

I do not have it installed from the factory, but I have to carefully inspect my R-line if the installation of this support is possible.
Although I think that the footrest is easier to install as in the Audi S1 (2015). Will have to make a simple DIY.
In the Audi S1, the footrest (5Q1864551) is a part included in the flooring, can not be purchased separately.

You can adjust it in the settings menu of RNS510, the options are day/night/automatic, select automatic.

Chromed: https://www.google.es/search?q=8P007176 ... =8P0071761
Either of the two are nice.
