unless you can get a two way pipe, which allows you to put the filter somehwere else in the bay, and still allowing you to attach the cover? but i don't think thts possible? :? but i don't really know

i think the ones that have the engine cover still on them, are not induction kit ones, just ones with replaced panel filters, coz all you do is a straight swap? i believe, but you dont get the same sound as the beast i got
Yeh i spose, But one Golf I saw had the engine cover on, and a hose running out with a cone filter on the end. Looked mint!

I dont even know how to pull the engine cover out...

I think I might be getting one of these but just wondering, can someone on here possibly post a decent video of their polo with the sound of the induction kit.

How easy is it to fit and then remove if you wanted to at a later date?

cheers

really really easy to chop and change whenever you like m8! unbelievablly easy once you know how.

sorry, not a very good video, as it doesnt demonstrate just how loud it is, and how many people turn around expecting to see a nice car, and are bitterly dissapointed, yet amazed.

Ey up, after reading all the positive comments about the induction kit am thinking of getting one myself,iv got 1.4 16V 9n though, so which kit will I need and how much will it set me back in total? Apart from sounding great what other benifits would I be getting?

errr brand new your looking at around £80 i believe, but do a quick check on the 'Wanted' section on here, thats how i got mine, and got it for £30. Performance wize your not going to notice much/anything. I havent noticed a thing, unless you dont look outside your car when your flooring it, it sounds faster than it looks.

Hi

So its purely for sounding vroom vroom? £80 brand new ey? Hmm, I mean if I bought one second hand is there any diff interms of the performance that I will get out of it or is it just purely the difference in price, cuz ones obviously new and the other is isnt? Fitting the thing seems to be tricky reading some previous comments, so might need someone to do it for me.

yeah pretty much m8, its just about the noise. look on the http://www.knfilters.com and then fill in your details of your car - make, model, year, engine etc.... then look for the 57i Induction kit listed in the products, then if you click on that, and have a look on the next page, there'll b a link to show you how to fit it.

http://www.kandn.com/instructions/57-0406.pdf is that your engine bay?
