JOM's are cheaper versions of TA's, 3 of my mates have JOM and nothing to report yet about them, stiff and slightly bouncy ride but that's expecting with budget coilies

I'll have to wait and see - got 2 weeks of uni exams so things are on hold plus a new term starting and other bits *phew*

More likely to be summer any mods start again

Needs a really good clean (pics will be uploaded)

Next things will be:

- Service
- Sort out creaking sound(s)

cars looking good. See you went for the 17" Monzas from the not the 16" from Polo.... they look good and I guess when it's lowered the stance will be awesome. Sucks about the window mate, really bad luck. Keep it up - look forward to seeing it colour coded and lowered!

Had a look at my headlights yesterday and the drivers side has got condensation in it :/

Any way of drying it out, like a hairdryer or something?

Also with the alloys, was tempted to do them in gunmetal or a dark grey once lowered to offset the silver? Or paint them silver, not sure yet.

Usually condensation is caused because the headlight isnt sealed properly.
Check the covers on the rear?

Those pedals should fit, but I THINK you need the LHD throttle pedal, heard somewhere the RHD ones don't fit properly

Yeah mate those pedals should fit if they are RHD pedals (the clutch and the brake pedal will fit anyway).

Check whether it is condensation or roadsalt from when the roads were snowy/freezing. If its condensation as CharlesK says, check your seals. You can use a hair dryer to dry out the inside of the lenses but if roadsalt has got onto the inside of the lenses due to a broken seal etc., you're probably best off just purchasing a new drivers side unit as they are a pain in the a** to clean. You'll have to take the whole front bumper off to remove a light cluster though.....hope it's just condensation

Maybe put some of that silica gel you get in shoe boxes and stuff, tape one to some string and leave it for a few days and see if that helps too, but put the cover over the string

From memory all lights should have a drain hole which is supposed to stop condensation by letting it escape somewhere. You could see if this is blocked. I don't think any lights are sealed fully because the bulbs have to click in somewhere.....

Well yeah, but the bases of the bulbs usually seal fairly well.
Might be a blocked drain hole or something thinking about it though

It looks like its mainly the inidcator on the drivers side but the main beam on the passenger. Took the headlights out to put in HIDs so I may have put something in the way.

Also, got my Seat bushes now, just got to get to the garage to fit them, cost about £100 in labour which seems OK.

If anyone else needs them, the part number is 6LL 407183 cost about £9.07+VAT each
