Or you could check some things like whether the wiring is transmitting +12V to T73a/37 in auto setting.

I can confirm 12v is being sent to the T37a/37 in auto

all other exterior lights work as intended, at the front?

Yes but not in auto light mode

If set to side lights only, just side lights are on.

if set to headlights on, then dipped beam comes on, when stalk is pressed or flashed, full beams come on

but nothing in auto mode by the looks of things, other than the side lights being permanently on

okay, thanks for your help, i'll keep investigating but everything seems correct according to 7L6 wiring diagrams, so next step is check T6 stuff

I have checked measuring block 29, which switches on and off when I turn the light switch from off to auto, so the BCM knows that the auto lights are working. It must be in the coding

i'm just guessing at this point, but you could have a look at byte 18 and try something like '61'.

Been doing some digging around to try bridge the gap we are having, i'd like your opinion on the coding for byte 13.

Byte 13 according to your coding is 0B

The coding matches currently for what is ticked in the image, however bit 7 is unchecked, surely this would affect the light sensor working, please let me know your thoughts

I have also uploaded the T6 BCM pinout to the drive link i've previously shared, I have compared it to all the wiring I have done and it all seems okay, I must be missing something

Just tried it and realised... my vcds is saying coding accepted, but the bcm isn't storing the settings any idea why that could be? Possibly battery voltage?

Update

Was battery voltage, got it to accept long coding, e20 interior lighting now works. Side lights still on permanently though

Changed patch of auto lights from T17/16 To T17/5. Side lights now work as expected
