Well, I've not really figured that out yet. There's only 4 things I've decided which are "definate":
1) front will not go any wider
2) front will go on 165-50-15 Bridgestone Potenza's
3) bolts will be either chromed one's, or stainless steel one's
4) the centre's are not staying black

New centre-colour/option, not a clue yet, many colour-code them, maybe shade darker then the car, maybe get them polished, no idea. Rears, either same width of getting them 0,5 or 1 inch wider. Probably with 185-45-15 Nakang NS2's on it. Already got cambershims lying around, probably going to give that a try to get some more tucked in the arches.

Sounds good mate!!

That's a point, was having a discussion about camber shims the otherday on a different thread.

Do the ones you have any adjustment on the toe?

They're small devices used to increase/decrease negative or positive camber on the rear, as the rear is not camber adjustable.

Alot of people use them to increase negative camber to give a little more tuck in the arches, some people use them to correct negative camber after lowering.

Here they are:

Thanx for all the compliments! And not selling the RX2's easily, those RS772's (as BBS labelled them) took me too much time to just "sell off", won't be selling them too cheaply though.

And got my cambershims from Regal Autosport, took only 2 days for them to come over from Britain to Holland 8) and yes, they do have toe-adjustment in them :D They'll probably keep lying around till I get the wheels done and under the car, then going to calculate what I might be willing to have as "more" camber and less toe etc.

I'll try to make you some pics of the shims this week m8 and get them up here, so you can see what they're like and how they "work"

Also got my mind sorted out on the rear BBS RS001's, they're going 8J wide, with Nankang 185/45/15's, will give some strech, not to much, will be able to tuck it in good enough, and maybe get those camber-shims on too to get them more tucked in. Plus 185 does look nice and wide when looking at the car from behind, so will look a bit more "bad ass" on the highway and Autobahn then the 165/50/15's I had in mind first

Well yes and no, got the electronic scheduales printed and sorted, just need to figure somethings out in hooking up the climatronic, if I get that sorted (need to consult me m8 about it just to be sure I got things right) then I'll get the looming done, need to get the climatronic hooked, the lighting switch, the emergency-lighting, the electronic mirrors onto the mk5 swithces, the seat-heating onto the mk5 switches, of yes, and of course the tacho  lots and lots of soldering to do :x

But i'll manage, just start somewhere and don't stop untill it's done

Cheers! Will keep snapping them pictures :D Unfortunately I don't have much time on my hands this weekend, so hoping to get some, but guessing there won't be much work done on the mk4. But I still got all winter long

Well, here are the shims, this is a shim:

Image

Which is basically just a wedged disc mounted inside another wedged disc, which can rotate inside that other disc, to you can set camber&toe at the same time:

My finger keeping both discs apart:

Without my fingering-action going there:

And here I set them to max camber without any toe adjustment:

As you can see, it's basically an adjustable wedge to be put between your axle-studs and rear-beam
