Referring to BCMs, inside the link.
BCM 6R0937088 (D , F) is not a correct part number to install automatic lights in VW POLO 6R with halogen headlights without start stop system.
This BCM 088 can control the automatic lights. but it can not be installed in VW POLO 6R without start stop system because it need a Gateway (diagnostic interface) independent and separate of BCM
This BCM 088 does not have T73b/22 and T73b/23 contacts. These contacts are CAN line to diagnosis.

I'm pretty certain that it would require a new engine- I believe that start/stop engines have heavy duty bearings. You'd certainly need an entirely new engine electrical system to cope with the regenerative braking stuff, and to cope with the more frequent starts. It would be cheaper, even if you have an '09 6R, to buy a new 6C I would think!

Looks awesome.
But what's with the white piece of cardbord templet?

The paper template is to mark fastening points on the floor (carpet), with a punch and a cutter I've done the holes.
(necessary to be courageous, no turning back)
To take as reference the outer line of standard footrest and the bottom line of the trim. (see pictures)

The trim does not fit "perfectly" (nothing major) because is necessary slightly bend outward when it is installed.
Over the time, when the plastic adopt the right shape, it will fit perfectly.
Another way would be heat the plastic, but I have preferred not play with fire ... hehe

Good fixing with cable ties, the footrest is integrated to the floor.
