Hi benzinkopf, can you help me out with this mod in my VW polo sedan/Vento 2019?

I'm from India BTW & came to know about your mod from "TheLizardKing".
Hello there. Anything i can help? My door exit/warning light is a simple connection with battery power +30 and the ground from the door lock switch.
It may be too much to ask, but can you make me a set of those 3D printed brackets for all four doors and ship them to me?

Hi Amir, big fan of all the lighting mods you've done!
I plan to implement some of these myself:
1) Boot Open Lamps
2) Door Courtesy (Puddle) Lamps for only front doors since nobody sits at the rear in my car

I hope you can share the 3D files so that I can get the parts printed.

I also request your help for one part, I plan to transform one blank near the Hazard light switch in the Centre Console to a USB port. Do you think you can help me design that please?

I see you're not very active on the forum lately but I hope you'll reply to this whenever you get the chance.

Stay safe!

benzinkopf wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2020 9:42 am Btw, due to climatronic and hba, i decided to get this RLHS instead of just circle RLS. with Manual HVAC before, i always turn on the Air Circulation and i never had freezing evaporator coil. but since Climatronic, i feel like it does better in Automode(leaving the Air Circulation off - most of the time) but i had freezing evaporator coil issue. That made me think, climatronic might not be able to cope with the humidity level over here (85-90%) , since its taking fresh air inside. Plus, with temperature set at comfortable level (22-23deg), the blower is always between 1-2bar, which means the air flow is already low. driving a bit longer in that condition, easily bring down the evaporator temperature at freezing level. So i guess and hope, with the RLHS in place, the system might be able to control that further. I’m not sure really. but well, why not try it.
Hi Amir/Ciclo/iichel,
Could you please help me understand the benefit of a RLhS over a RLS? My Polo 6R IND comes with the following: 5K7 955 559 C as seen in the Subsystem 1 of Central Electronics in my VCDS scan.

my custom bracket for door exit/warning light mounting. There’s some little tweaking needed for the 3Dprinted bracket still but I’m happy with the position and mounting.

But i do think its not really a good “warning” light as there’s quite a distance from actual door edge, but the position is the best due to polo door panel design.

I’m waiting for the type without the projector. With this projector logo, its not really light up the area but as showoff instead. So better with the white light model. plus that one dont have heatsink needed like the one with projector.

Hi,
is it possible to have the this 3D printing file? I am thinking to do the same think.
Thank you

Hello ,

I don't know if this thread is still alive or not but I was hoping I can reach one of you or Amir to get hold of the 3D Printed adapters for the lights ?

I am driving a VW Polo 6C and I would love to do this little project on it.

Thank you very much!

2.0 bar (27ºC) at the rear axle wheels is perhaps a little low pressure for that medium speed.🤔

Hello my sifoo! Hope you re doing fine Ciclo. I can see your consistent activities and doing great for the community!!! Thanks a lot for that my friend.

On the tire pressure, well. i dont think i can feel any diff with higher pressure on the rear tires. but just to be clear, its not that usual for us over here to get that low 27 deg temperature. plus. the 185/60/15 tires already clocking 50k km within 2 yrs. so to have better grip, i think best to keep the pressure on the lower side. dont you think?
