After that, you have to open the driver's door. (I guess you do it this way)

But that gives the parts a chance to cure some more before I install them.

Better that way.

Today I cleaned the car and engine after a couple weeks of bad weather.

My engine bay really needs a GOOOOOOOOOOD cleaning...

But... Have done some manual labor today.

What is the reference number of your gas strut?

I ended up buying an aftermarket strut. The OEM one was quite expensive.

damnn you high tax on cars and carparts in Denmark.

Would have tried to have painted the strut White to match the car obviously not the hydraulic shaft.

None the less.. Will be copying this soon! How much was this strut?

I got a strut from eurocarparts for £18. Works fine. Its designed for a vw mk4 golf bonnet

I'm working on retrofitting OEM xenon with 10 to 14 pin adapters.
The car is a 2011 Polo 1.2TDI bluemotion with start/stop.
It's not completely standard (for exampe OPS front/back and GTI tacho) in case that's relevant.

Ciclo, need some help. What is the easiest way for routing a thin wire through the firewall/bulkhead? I saw the rubber grommet for the hood release cable but it is located a bit inside and may have to remove the wipers and the plastic trim to gain access. Is there another point?
