no need for a bbq, loadsa burger vans, donut stalls and i think there was even a candy floss stall!
besides it gets VERY windy at Santa Pod, the bbq would blow away, we had to tie the banner to a fence last time!!
Haha, the famous Santa Pod microclimate!

Here's some tips for doing the RWYB:

is it gonna be a case of all meeting up in that little street again at like 7.45am, like we have done the past couple of times?

i think i may just drive around (?) / down (?) the track at 50 just for the crack. giggle  im not sure Lum would cope any faster, esp round corners!

everytime i go to work, theres this one particular corner, going up a hill, just before joining the carriageway (ie dont want to go too slow cuz else ill lose the momentum of 'run-up') and the whole contents of my car just fly on to the floor with a big dooosh.

Makes me giggle every time...esp if someone is over taking me just fine on the outside lane

You'll be ok with this, its a drag strip so there are no corners, just a nice straight quarter mile!

it is weird, watching all the cars going down the strip, revving their guts out at the start, wearing miles off their tyres and u think god, that looks like fun and the last couple of times i have been really tempted to go and sign up late!

Yeah Dan that sounds like a good plan, i bet that little village of people must hate us all turning up like that! but its a good little spot and will do for a little convoy there!

Hopefully i'll run gordon up the strip if he's feeling healthy but id hate for something to blow up lol!

And yes it will be very windy, so i wouldnt bother with a BBQ (they probably wouldn't let you anyway) seeing as they nearly wouldnt let Dan on the stand because he had a Seat Ibiza!

....hope your ready for all that hassle again this year dan?
