i wanted a set of brembo 4 pots, but i was never going to get theme on!

i think im going to end up with standard aftermarket disks and pads front and rear! hopefully these will do the trick as it weighs very little

ive got front hubs/calipers from a polo gti and zimmerman drilled discs and pagid fast road pads.
no complaints so far and im regularly braking from 130ish
well at least a couple of times a week
mind u dont know if that will b enuf 4 ur car :?
though venoms lupo only has 14" wheels so the brakes cant be that fancy on that :D

At last - the money shot.

sorry mate but you cant put that in there and not drag it - it defeats the point of fitting the engine, you could have just chromed and smoothed the bay with the original engine if it was just for shows.

As for your other posted about your wheels, I thought you were saying that the wheels currently on your car are DZs - when there blatently 112s. However the wheels in the pics there look very tasty.

Should look good when its complete.

why not go for a G60 set up?? 280mm.
i saw a pic of dave's car in pvw from a show a couple of months back. it looks the same as it did last year from what i can see.
any ideas what his new project may be??

looked at g60 brakes and a brembo setup, but they wouldnt go.standard aftermarket brakes will be fine i think, the car only weighs 900 kgs at the end of the day.it does have rear disk brakes.venoms lupo has a standard setup, which he says is more than enough.
ash:got any more quotes yet?

No not really mate. Designa dubs want 6K plus vat i think and a couple of others are around the same price. i'm really in two minds as to whether it's worth it. one day it seems a great idea to finish the car off, another i'm feeling sensible and think that i could buy a ibiza 1.8t for that money. Still not sure, what do you reckon??

if i could do it all again i would of bought a car already completed, i mean 100% modified.if your wondering what car it would of been;it would of been a corrado. at the end of the day when your one day sitting in your arm chair remembering your past, the things you regreted doing and so on, do you think that might be one of them? i know it would of been one of mine!
you only have one life dude! get a ibiza when you retire! :)
