Hello guys!
I read the the whole thread but I'm not absolutely sure in a question so I ask you to help me pls.

If I read it correctly in this thread, the changing from a 6R H7/H7 headlight to a 6C H7/H7 is plug and play?!
For example: 6R1941007E -> 6C1941005B
Thanks in advance!

I bought my Polo V 1.2 TSI 90 Trendline (6R) with retrofitted 6C headlights. However, when I activate the high beams using the stalk, the low beams turn off.
I therefore wanted to try Ciclo’s method, but when I removed the left-hand side panel to access the relays, this is what I found:
I only have three relays: a green 644, a black 645, and another black one marked 646. I searched for a matching relay diagram on the following website (
https://polo.blue/fuses-and-relays-in-polo-6r/), and it seems that J331 is the small 646 relay on the left.
Can one of you confirm it before I do anything stupid?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Your 6R is a 2013-2014 MY.
J331 = 646 (small relay)
Please share your small DIY project here, along with a couple of photos.
Thanks.

Thanks for your help ! I tried to unpin the connector with a paperclip but it didn't work so I ordered the extraction tool and I'm waiting for it. I'll send here everything I did following your tutorial once done.

You need to use the right VW terminal removal tools.
I always recommend this one for enthusiasts:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from= ... ol&_sop=15
It is excellent quality and affordable for most budgets, although there are many other models that are more professional—and more expensive.
For smaller terminals, this set is damn effective:

There are also sets of precision tweezers that work quite well...
Be patient and try to approach the task
like a watchmaker. With experience in these tasks, one knows exactly how to maneuver the extraction tool so that the two metal tabs do not dig into the plastic and extract the terminal gently.
Important: you must first release the
pink/violet plastic locking mechanism—located on the connector or relay base—which provides a secondary hold for the terminal. Yes, this can be considered an unexpected ambush for many.
If the terminal gets stuck and seems impossible to remove

, you have the option of cutting the original wire
as long as possible and splicing
-in a perfect way- the new wire onto the section containing the terminal that is stuck in place.
