A long time ago when I discovered the function of Byte29 Bit6 we tried to operate the CCS/ACC buttons on our 6R, T5 (Adam87) by the LIN 36. Everything is written here in the forum.
Everything worked fine, including the horn, except what we were looking for ... the CCS on the steering wheel buttons.
I discovered that the CCS did not work because the SW of the ECU was not the appropriate one (logically). The appropriate SW had to comply with the Euro6 emission standard (the T6). 6R, T5, etc ... that are prior to 2015 comply with Euro5 or improved standards.
Then there was someone here in the forum with a T5 who was fortunate (due to compatibility) to flash the SW engine and other units to install the ACC, OEM way.
A nice but hard and expensive job.
Later, some engine that was installed in the Polo Sedan that was sold in Russia (6R - PQ25 family) had the appropriate SW to install MFSW with CCS (by LIN 36).
For us (6R) we had no chance to find the appropriate SW. iichel made several attempts to get ACC to work on his 6R.
And this was the reason for the CCEmulator ...
With Slavik's CCEmulator everything should work fine if you install it as directed. You neither need nor can use the LIN 36 at all.
Returns everything to the original state if you have followed any step indicated in the link to the T6 forum ... (I reserve my opinion to name what is written there).
On the other hand, and although the driver's airbags of the different VW models of the same years of construction seem the same, they are not, some lack of one ground connection and are not suitable for PQ25. This causes the horn to not work and other problems.
Airbag wiring must be appropriate, not all are wired the same way.

I would prefer not to continue talking about MFSW, you cannot imagine how many times I have argued about it.
I wonder if you have the Slavik's CCE (the best) what the h.ll are you doing looking at those links ...
