I'm after a newer diesel to run forever. A3 TDi, 9N3 TDi, bluemotion 2 all looking good, then when I have the funds and time I'll get a mark1 golf as my weekend car 8)
Sorry to hear its going dude, just think your going to see it driving around filthy :(

But on the other hand a efficient daily and a mk1 will ease the pain! When i sell up and get a van for work will be on the look out for a mk1 or mk2 gti for the weekends and summer. Can't wait 8)

Yeh id love to keep the polo, but it just falls short of being a pratical daily, or a weekend car.

Lets hope I dont get bored of it's replacement, as the mark golf won't be around for a good few years yet!

Sad to see it go mate but I know it had been on the cards for a while.

What price did you sell it for if you dont mind me asking?
Mine will be going sooner rather than later so I just want an idea of what decent GTI's are selling for at the moment.

I think a TDI is a wise choice for a daily driver, they have plenty of poke and the fuel economy is amazing.
My dad is buying a 6N2 1.4 TDi this week after being a petrol head all of his life so Diesels are much more sought after nowdays, be nice having two 6N2's in the family haha

Keep us all updated on what you get mate :)

I'll get pics up when the car is in my hands!

List of things to buy for it, to keep you guessing:

H7 hid kit
Led sidelights
Led h7 fogs
Pressed UK plates
Red lens tinting spray
cubby hole lid

Sounds like a 9N3 with the red lense tinting spray

I pressume that will be used on the ugly rear lights
Getting used to not having Xenons will be a shocker! HID's just aint the same

Definitely a 9N3 - The cubby box gave it away.

Love them Tim, hope you've gone for a nice colour! :)

It's definitely not a GTI. The reason for tim selling was economy and practicality lol
