I'll never get big headed, don't you worry. I'm a bit of a nit picker so there's always something I ain't happy with on the car

More progress recently
I've got no photos of it, but I de-restricted the airbox a few weeks ago. I noticed a little driving difference and it sounds a bit airy-er, haha
And today I finally got round to de-wedging the throttle body
The first rivet gun I borrowed from a mate didn't have a long enough neck, so I called out for some EastsideVW help as I had already taken the wedges out before I realised
Richard (Ben Stiller) came to the rescue and brought round another one. Job sorted
Lots of pikying about trying different sizes of rivets n that, but finally got it done
What can I say. the car feels really different. The throttle response is so instant. It's was hard to get used to but it's an improvement
I have noticed that little flat spot that some people talk about after de-wedging but I've also read that it can be eliminated with a smaller pulley and chip to match. That'll come in the future!
But for now. Some pics to go with the essay:

sorry mark but what do you mean by the US/Jap side markers???
p.s car looks sweet as always, like the red look on the interior

Most US/Jap cars in their respective countries have front side markers. Basically an orange light at the front of the vehicle that is on either as their sidelights or WITH the sidelights/main headlights

A plastic VR6 wheel? I thought they were all leather?
Mine's exactly the same, but it has seams. Interesting...
Nice pics by the way.

Yeah, there must have been different versions of the wheel. Strange indeed but I wasn't arguing for the pricely sum of £5. Look so much better than the standard one
