The flexable joint is still attached, but the flexi pipe has been replaced with a slightly bent straight pipe.
I'll get a pic next time I have her on the ramp.
Was down at my mates the last fvew days helping out with his GTI Turbo build, and we knocked up a K&N induction 'kit' from some scraps

He made the decsion as I was leaving yesterday to strip the car down to bare shell and change the colour lol

Not yet, I broke the VW feed when I tried to remove it, but I will take a feed from the stock location to the airbox, was thinking about sealing the box to direct as much as possible.

Its acually quiet a large sub, although its a 12" sub its actually closer to 13".
The magnet and basket is huge, really heavy sub.
Probably the best deep bass SQ sub around back in the day.
Never had a big following over here, but those of us who did buy one don't really want anything else.
The amp is a Rockford 801S, its a bit of a powerhouse, puts out 800wrms @ 4ohm.
I have a second 801S which I will run in stereo at 2ohm to power these RE XXX Mids, they'll get 400wrms each!
These are massive, the horn tweeter next to it is from a PA system speaker

Following an 'issue' parking the Polo in front of the garage while painting some calipers I was left with quite a large amount of yellow overspray over every single panel!.
Well, three days plenty of clay and various coats of Polish and Wax the car is finally silver again!
280mm conversion within the next week, along with Coil-overs.
LED rear lamp conversion and get my refurbished BBS rims back on and its done!
Just in time for the Lupo to come out the paint shop lol
Tigz.
Back in love with the 6N2 GTI
