It can still be picked up though :P and noted as an advisory

They also dont have reflective strips in, which I know is tested for. When I bought a set of hellas, they came with stick on reflective strips in the box for MOT purposes.

Oh yes thats another thing....youll need to get a red coated 382 bulb for the fog light as thats in the reverse light (clear) slot

There are plenty of dodgy garages out there, just choose one of them and they'll pass it no problem.
I actually helped the guy doing my MOT, it was never going to fail haha :)

Within the last week i have acquired a Sharan rear badge to go on and booked my car to have a little arch work done (fronts and rears lip rolled and pulled to suit wheels) Hopefully be able to go a little lower as a result may add a bit of camber on the rear

As previously said its booked into the body shop and goes in on the second of April looking forward to have all the stone chips from winter removed etc

Yesterday i decided to get my wheels out of storage as i needed to do a bit of measuring and investigation but in the process decided to take a picture so this is how she stood:

Today i went to put on my rear sharan badge but...................................

So on removal of the large vw badge the milky marks above where left. Ive had a go with a sonus SFX-2 Spot pad with SFX-1 and SFX-2 polish with no luck bit stuck on what to try now  :-\. Anyone with any ideas?

Alex

Thats under the lacquer - you wont get those marks out. Ive had a similar effect before on my GTI before it was sprayed

Do not machine polish it any more or youll burn the clearcoat away

I love this car, not usually a fan of smoothed bumpers, but it looks great on yours, the ML's set it off so nicely too!

As can be seen no rear badge some idiot (me) bought a Passat by accident rather than a Sharan one and its way to curved! So if you want a Passat 90mm rear badge give us a shout!

And the rear lights i cant get the indicators to flash orange bright enough so left them off for now don't want trouble with the law!

Comments good and bad please!
