You can remove the two covers without removing the steering wheel.
Here you have pictures that might help:

Was looking for a better video but now can not find. You have to rest your head in the zone of pedals and enter the arm to remove the connectors. Has certain difficulty by the reduced space.
--------------------------------------
Edit, these videos are for LHD. I guess for RHD will be similar.

This is the most impressive modified Polo I have seen. Well done, your work is really good! I wish Volkswagen's optional extras department employed you, they could do with a bit of creativity in their Polo range.
Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
I think Ciclo only missed heating in seats.
Everything else seems done.

Thank you very much for your comment Pearls.
Indeed, where I live in Spain I do not need heated seats system. If I put the leather upholstery (in a couple of years) will probably install it.
Next mod that I have in mind is installing a gas spring for opening bonnet but take time to find the right parts.

"Thunderstruck" . You're the first person who notices that I am a god. Thks . lolololololololololololololololol!!
We started:
First, music to awaken the mind while we take place in the Olympus (recommended up the volume to hear the neighbors ):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT330_kxJOE
Preamble:
If a question arises during the reading of this post probably you solve reading here:
http://workshop-manuals.com/
VW: http://volkswagen.workshop-manuals.com/
Polo Mk5: http://volkswagen.workshop-manuals.com/ ... x.php?id=4
Search, eg onboard unit J519 removing polo mk5: http://volkswagen.workshop-manuals.com/ ... hp?id=1451
BCM location (lhd): https://www.youtube*.com/watch?v=9yagbbCL ... r_embedded
That BCM requirements: (touches you translate German)
http://www.polo6rfreunde.de/board3-der- ... nen-im-6r/
http://www.polo6rfreunde.de/board3-der- ... 17a771ecce
To install the Rear View Camera need your radio navigation system has video input. Eg, RNS315, RNS510, RCD510 with plug 26-pin video. No need to change the bcm.
------------ deleted line---------------
To install the onboard computer need to do this: https://www.youtube*.com/watch?v=dVEIN7JC ... r_embedded , but this you'd know if you were done a search in the forum. Cruise control is similar but more complex. In any case when you need electrical diagram you ask me.
To my knowledge, you can not disable the DRL via vcds. You have to bend the pin in the connector (T17) of the light switch.
Interesting web links:
http://www.carsystems.pl/volkswagen,c1.html
http://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/volkswagen/polo/polo-6r
There is a forum mate that makes these works (eddie-gt, sorry if I spelled wrong) but I do not know him.
To finish, the original Thunderstruck (let it rip).

Remember, if you do not have the original vcds cable you should not be online while using the program. The cable will be blocked.
Each time you make a Autoscan and you saved it is filed in the Logs folder.

The most competitive prices and good service for OEM parts are in the link given the post of music ...
eg:
http://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/Volkswage ... ction_ms=1
Remember to select the model year. As you can see in the link also tells you that it is necessary your BCM has to be at least 6R0 937 087 or higher.
http://www.carsystems.pl/vw-rear-emblem ... id691.html
This is the best price you can find for OEM RVC. Includes adapter before you can install.
In Spain it's all more expensive, abusive tax, "etc" ... ... I prefer not to comment on none of this.
Everyone knows that it is cheaper to buy in China.
I recommend you the links that I posted.
