It was already active on the Beetle ECU

You will also need a tool to read and transfer your immo data. It's not as simple as moving the eeprom.
Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
Thanks, got any suggestions?
As to the list of mods at the start of this thread, I had some questions:
1. Was any of this completed pre MQB and if so, did you redo it as OEM once upgraded to MQB? I guess you've changed wiring looms along the way?
2. Re the engine, have you seen any noticeable improvement by upgrading to the 2litre air meter, filter, pipes, etc?

What do you mean by 'upgraded to MQB'? My Polo is still based on the PQ25 platform and I have no intention of moving the car to the MQB platform.
If I were to decide to do so, that would be a massive change of wiring loom.
I don't feel any noticeable difference in performance, power output or responsiveness right now. My car is limited by the DPF for power output.

Sorry, to clarify, I mean this part of your opening postiichel wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 8:00 am What do you mean by 'upgraded to MQB'? My Polo is still based on the PQ25 platform and I have no intention of moving the car to the MQB platform.

You've fitted all these MQB parts and just adapted the existing wiring to make them work? Does a lot of this stem from the upgrade to the BCM?Optical improvements:
- Full R-Line interior and exterior package with 17 inch Mallory and Mirabeau wheels
- Facelifted accents all around: MQB parts like LED headlights, tail lights, DSG lever, dashboard, door panels, steering wheel
- VW Passat CC B7 leather front seats
- Black roof lining and piano black dash inserts
So would the 2.0 litre airbox, pipes, filter mods offer anything over a standard CAYC 1.6TDi?

Yes, all retrofits of electric parts typically consist of two parts. First part is hardware (modules, lights, connectors, wiring, etc) and second part is coding.Lucero79 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 10:39 pmSorry, to clarify, I mean this part of your opening postiichel wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 8:00 am What do you mean by 'upgraded to MQB'? So, the LED headlights from a Polo 6C do require some modification in the wiring and BCM. And of course coding of the BCM.
The 6C tail lights are plug and play with a small adapter loom. The DSG lever from the Polo 6C is plug and play. The dash was plug and play as well, since it's not electric. Same for the door panels.
The seats... oh my god, so much work. But they MQB Passat B8 is MQB, but Passat B7 is PQ (PQ46 to be precise, similar to Golf mk5/6 PQ35).
And the black roof lining and dash inserts are a direct match.
The 2.0 TDI engine parts will bring no performance to a 1.6 TDI engine, no. You'll unlock some performance with these parts after you lose the DPF.

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
Update to my Polo itself, I received message from Q Turbos that my GTC1549 turbocharger is back from revision and hybridization.
It will be capable of a bit more horsepowers now on the 2.0 TDI engine.

Amazing, I have a GTC1552vz hybrid ready to bolt on (and then map) hence the questions about the p'n'p airbox, filter, pipes, etc.iichel wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 8:54 am Update to my Polo itself, I received message from Q Turbos that my GTC1549 turbocharger is back from revision and hybridization.

Do you now have a 2 litre Tdi instead of the CAYC?
Thanks again.

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
I'm planning to install either a CFH or a CFG engine, but now it has a CAY engine.

sorry for my bad english
I saw that you installed the amrok speedometer in your polo. I also did the construction and took over the EEPROM data. Now the error in the brake control unit is displayed to me Wrong wheel speed from the Kombiinstrument(Tacho) cluster. I also get the message Check brake fluid log with a red exclamation mark symbol. Do you have to reconnect something on the cable? Do you have an idea what I might have forgotten or a tip for me? You can also send me a PM message.
Best regards
Benjamin
Hi iichels,
Here is the EEPROM file from my speedometer. Thank you for looking.

Don't worry, you're not the first person with this problem

Hi, iichel.iichel wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 4:12 pm And the other winter project: 2Q0 SWA/BSD radars as upgrade from my 7E0 C radars. The alternative is 5Q0 BSD radars but it is said the 2Q0 is a bit more accurate.
7E0 radars --> viewtopic.php?p=540564#p540564
The goal is to add RTA for my PDC in the Discover Media PQ, otherwise the 7E0 radars work perfectly.

Sorry for my english =)
I'm trying to adapt 2q0...b radars too. Right now I can say that only 1 error crashes all assists (both BSD and RTA). Radars' waiting some message from ESP, but don't receive it. The same problem was with 5q0 radars. Slava (madwarlock) had solved it with adaptation channel "analysis 4". But 2q0 radars have no adaptation channel like that. But there is channel "analysis 15" that has FF FF....FF string. Maybe we need to change some FF to something else... I don't know right now.
P.S. sw 0150, parametres are from passat USA because it is still PQ-based and has no EPB.
If you need, I can send actual 2q0..b scan in 3 days.
So I see 2 ways to solve this ploblem:
1. Find the solution in "analysis 15" channel w/o any hardware changes or
2. Upgrade our ESP 9.0i front unit to mk60ec1 (1K0 coded like jetta). This way is much longer, but it can open a way to ACC (maybe with follow-to-stop function), PLA, full RTA and BSD. 2 ploblems with 1K0 ESP are "how to replace esp unit correctly" and "how to code 1k0 unit correctly". I know, that it's possible to code 1k0 unit "lile jetta" only if 7th and 8th VIN symbols are 16 instead of 61 or 6R.
What do you think of all og it? =)
