The ugly car post

Post by Babe RuthLess »

Ok... I think we all agree that Polos are great-looking cars, or at least that our Polos are.

We can only feel sorry, then, for those poor souls that are forced to drive lesser cars.

Unless they actually spend their own money buying some things I can only describe as criminal designs, in which case being seen driving them is punishment enough.

I'm not going to mention the two F words here today (well, Fiat and Ford, there! I said them - sorry...) because their crimes are well-known and I must admit to having been an accomplice in two of them.

But I still propose this topic for the discussion, and obviously, the detraction of the ugliest, most offensive cars your our humble opinion.

May I start by pointing exibit A, the Corsa Sedan. GM should be banned not only as in Genetically Modified but also as in Chevrolet (or Opel or Vauxhall or whatever fake passport name our criminal may use).

Image
Oh the humanity!

Image
Kinda reminds you of those 'Your mama's so...' jokes that start 'Your mama's ass is so big...", doesn't it?

This abherration is seen throughout the American continent, and I'm told also in Africa. Which adds to the cruel treatment dispensed on two of the poorest areas of the world. The Corsa Sedanould be useful for birth control purposes though: being seen driving one is a sort of symbolic castration...

Let's see what else you guys can come up with - I for one won't be offended if it's just for the benefit of a helthy discussion! 8)

Edit: Image size reduced in an attempt not to be overly offensive.

Hehehehe I think an 'Ugly Mods' thread could spark some serious flame wars in here...

I'm glad to see it only took a few minutes before a Multipla came up!

The next cars are a generation old now, but you can try and picture the Clio with the new front - something I wouldn't show you guys, or you migh lose your sleep!

Image
And the French still complain about foreigners resenting them

Image
If you need a boot that bad, buy a used Estate or something!

This is Ford making yet another contribution to making the world a sadder place. These used to come all the way from Mexico. Think tequila hangover.

Never dare Ford to make an ugly car. They take this bussiness seriously

Can you believe there are people in Brazil and in Argentina actually modding these things?? Amazingly though, the one in the photo is 100% factory original.

I've been in the back of an Aixam (3 up) at ofer 40 mph aparently you can drive them on a bike licence over here. Those of you who know me can imagine how comical a sight it must have been to see me folded into the back or one of those things.

I took a long hard look at a Citroën C3 parked alongside my Polo today.

What an ugly car! Especially when all black trim has been colour-coded in the brazilian-made version.

However as I looked at the car I was caught by its owner who'd come back to pick something up... A total babe! :P

I was a bit  so I only said 'nice car', she asked if the Polo was mine and I said yes, so she said 'yours is nice too' and floated away. :D
