hi all,

didnt know where to post this, so please slap my wrist if its the wrong thread?

bought a cracking cd player form halfords, put it in 2 weeks ago and it was working fine, coming home from work last night i thought right... lets see what it can do, i changed the fade so it was a little in the back then pumped it up..... playing my favourite 'audioslave' album at the time :o when the bass kicked in the cd player just 'turned off'???

i took it out checked all connections but nothing!!! no lights come on there is no power going to it at all. i did however check the fuse, littel red thing at the back with a number 10 written on it, it seemed to be ok? well i say o.k (i hav elimited knowlegde of cd players) the little bit of wire in th efuse looked not to be broken???

any ideas, im taking it back to halfords anyway this afternoon and act dumb! get one of their gurus to sort it out, hopefully its something stupid!

Take that fuse out and have a good look; these fuses are fairly easy to determine.

My guess is that it's one of the car's fuses. Is your cigarette lighter still working?
