ok i have an engine problem that i think may be related to the timing belt tensioner and if im changing that then ill ber doing the belt and since thats off the cam will be easy to do at the same time soooo:
who makes a cam for the AUD engine
engine specs
4cyl 8v multi point injection 60hp (stock ) 1.4L

Kent Cams will build you a custom set, but you have to know roughly waht your after, and you have to send them your originals, they re-profile the new ones from these.

i know a lad that does that locally and he owes ma a favor but im looking for minimum down time

Not sure but are all the cams the same on Polo 8v hydraulic tappet heads ? Most cam makers list Polo 8v hyd head, then do different duration.

Maybe Schrick, Piper, Newman or Sorg do them. I take it you are going for a fast road ?
