These are the latest craze to hit the good ol US of A.

The site where i got this from sells them in 24'' ( ) flavour. I have found heaven! they cost $3000 inc tyres, which works out at about £1700 which is cheaper than 19s over here.

Spinners. Dävon makes these for instance, and they will hit the Euro scene this summer and even more so the next. I've seen the first Mk3 Golf with them already, in 17".

Quite the bling.

How do they work? Do the "front" blades spin when the car's stationary?? What makes them rotate??

Confused.

Deek.

When your car stops (after the wheels have been spinning) inertia keeps the rims spinning even when your wheels have stopped.

I think the outer rim sits on some nice bearings, so it'll spin for a while.

It gives the effect that the wheels are still turning even when you've stopped.

Pimps and Rappers in LA love them.

i just cant wait till one of those bearings fails and one of those spinning discs (ninja stars) goes down the high street!
on another note the place where the bearing is is exactly where the wheel gets attached to a ballencing machine, oh i hiope im off work the day the forst of those comes in!

please excuse the typing but i have an oxygen sensor on my lap!

Yeah I've wondered about the fitting and balancing of these wheels as well, there must be some easy way...

well i cant see any lug holes so they must be removeable but since the wheel cant be ballenced with them on then ant inballence in the ninja star part of the wheel will cause the car to vibrate like crazy
